1. Who writes this?
It’s a team effort, but the voice behind every Quick Tip is Roger Blankenship, aka The Flipping America Guy. Roger has flipped over 2,000 houses, hosted the top-rated Flipping America podcast, and written the #1 international best-seller House Flipping in Ten Days.

He’s a man of many words — sometimes too many — which is where we come in. Our job is to keep each day to a quick 2-minute read (hence the title). If you ever get a chance to hear Roger live or online, take it. Few people work harder, think deeper, or bring more humor to real estate and life. Even in “semi-retirement,” his work ethic puts us to shame.

2. Why is this free? Will there ever be a paid version?
REI Quick Tips is ad-supported and will always be free. We’re not planning a “paid” edition. From time to time you’ll see ads for sponsors — mostly real estate and small-business related. (You probably won’t see CBD gummies or new Nikes… but once in a while the ad guys sneak something past us.)

When a sponsor lines up with your needs, we hope you’ll check them out. That’s what keeps this free and daily.

3. Why give away so much knowledge?
A fair question! Roger believes in the “abundance model”: the more value we give, the more opportunities circle back. Besides, good information helps you avoid bad deals — and a better-informed investing community is good for everyone.

4. Is there a catch?
