Why Realtors Should Be Investors

If you are a licensed agent, you have a couple of built-in advantage should you choose to become an investor:

1. Access to properties, buyers and sellers;

2. Working knowledge of real estate transactions.

Here’s why you probably should consider becoming an investor yourself:

1. Imagine playing monopoly by just going around the board, collecting $200 when you pass go but never buying a property. It’s not a winning strategy.

2. As stated in a different Quick Tip, Real Estate Investing is not rocket surgery. You can do this. 

3. As an agent, your income stops when you do. As an investor, your passive income will eventually allow you to slow down - then quit if you want.
